How to import a thinkorswim study (indicator)

How to Import Custom Indicators in Thinkorswim (Step-by-Step video Guide)

Please don't double click it, or run it in any other software such as mediaplayer.

You can import studies and strategies from .ts files only.

To import a study,

Make sure you are on the Edit Studies and Strategies window under the Charts tab.
Click the Import button at the bottom of the window.
Please save the file I sent to you to C:\ or any folder on your PC you can easily locate.
Select a study you want to import. For example, if file name is "MACDpsSTUDY.ts" and you saved it to C:\ you should be able to find it at C:\MACDpsSTUDY.ts
Click Open. The study will be imported to the application.
Its title after importing will be "MACDps".

To import a strategy

Make sure you are on the Edit Studies and Strategies window under the Charts tab.
Go to the Strategies tab.
Click the Import button at the bottom of the window.
Select a strategy you want to import.
Click Open. The strategy will be imported to the application.
